Do I need to have a background in photography?

Our How to Use Your DSLR – An Introduction workshop is designed for students who have had little or no experience in the fundamentals of photography, and who wish to understand essentials such as shutter speed, ISO and aperture.

Our Beyond the Basics – Intermediate DSLR Photography workshop is best suited to those who have been using their DSLR or Mirrorless camera for a while and consider photography a hobby.

Our Specialist Workshopsmay require specific photographic experience which is indicated in each workshop description. These workshops are great opportunities for students to understand lens choices and creative techniques across a variety of disciplines.

How many students will be in the class?

The maximum capacity is workshop-dependent. The group size for most workshops will not exceed 12-15 students.

Will you be offering different workshops in the future?

Yes. Our introductory and intermediate workshops will run indefinitely. As our product range expands, we will continue to offer new workshops that cater to all skill levels. We have recently introduced the Getting to Know the Z Series workshop, which is specifically catered to our signature range of Mirrorless cameras.

We are also working on evolving our workshop offerings and will continue to introduce specialist workshops in a wide range of disciplines including wildlife, landscape, food and macro photography, to name a few.
